I do not know of very many or anyone that could have pulled this repair off, and I know it will look perfect when it has paint. Nice to have Buddies that can pull this off. Most people will not even show up until the repair is complete, don't ask me how I know 🙂

Would love to know where to get parts chromed? I'm restoring a 1960 Bubble top and need a few small parts chromed up....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Love following you here on the '60 lowrider. It gave me lots of insight on my rebuild.

This is why I’m going to run bags on my dream car when I build it.. I just want a lay n play, don’t wanna hop, don’t want smoke and fires in my trunk, and I definitely want to avoid all this kind of stuff, I will have leaks but when I fix a leak I’m done… no bleeding etc.. and yes I still consider my car and myself lowrider. Fellas will hate… tha ladies won’t care..🤣🤣🤣

Those are China gears. Them gears suck I have blown them up on 3 batteries. I would upgrade to Italian gears yes they are more money but it's a piece of mind.

So the aftermarket parts quality problem is everywhere? Often not worth "upgrading" things. My 49 Chevy coupe is getting a bone stock 1989 305 and a 2004r, should outlast me.

It makes me Crazy when a new part is DOA or only works for a little amount of time. In the 60's lots of things were DOA, Mr. Gasket was the WORST by far, everything was JUNK.......... But Johnny knows what to buy to make it work for a long time. We also got a little update on the 59. Around here all the Shops have Waste Oil Heaters for the Winter so we all save our oil to donate. My Buddy had a Transmission shop and the Trans Fluid was the best to use.
